Let's Go Academy!

Gonna be a long post + photos. Finally, I'll blog from last week. Last Monday morning met Pei Xuan, so she's working at Jean Yip! Yeah reached there & she made my hair & all, we were the first to finish! (: Happy for her, 'cause she passed the test! :D Actually she was my sister's secondary classmate, used to be like a clown, but I guess people grow matured after some time. That's her below, only a year older than me, & hairstylist-to-be. Afterwhich, I went to meet Josh & co. for games.



Thursday.
Had training, & some of the guys already fell slept even before it started. Haha. As usual, we can't really slack much. Ended in the afternoon, but it was pouring heavily. Met Donavan first in the late afternoon & we went for home. He's still as clown-y, 'cause we HAHAHA-ed a lot of times :D Then Samuel came to meet us in the evening, also another clown. Lol! Got to Victoria theatre early, & went in without waiting for YunJia & co. Sorry! Let's see, quite a number of nvss peeps went too. YunJia, Crystal, Michelle, Kelvin, Keith, Yinghao, Aaron, Claire & others. The dance performance: Le Deuxieme De Le Grand finally started! Xq's one was the first solo performance, was really intimidating. Haha. She can dance really well, I must admit. There were dancers from other schools as well. Enjoyed the whole performance a lot (: After the finale, all of us went on the stage to find her & to take photos. Decided to head home, & I nearly lost my camera. Ran back to the toilet to find, but to no avail. Eventually it was found at the Ticket Office. Thank God! :D Got to Hougang, waited for Sam's bus to come before I took the last bus home. & he's going to the 'MyHope' Christmas Party! Yay, persuaded him like don't-know-how-many minutes.

Friday.

Had difficulty waking up, but it's 0831A's class outing! Met GuoQuan at Outram to borrow the volleyball first before heading to harbourfront to meet them. Thanks! So we got to tanjong beach at 1pm, & left at 7pm! It was funnnnnnnn (: Though weather forecast predicted that it'd rain on that day, but it did not! Haha, so Saman, Jason & I applied the sun tan oil. Reached Vivo City at 8pm & I had to leave first. ): Rushed back to church for worship practice, for next morning camp's. I was very hungry by then, luckily george came! So he bought food for me. Ended after midnight, last bus was gone, so I walked home. & I started packing only at 3am plus! By the time I finished, left only less than 2 hours of sleep.

Saturday - Monday.
Got up at 6am plus again & took cab to church. Duty in the morning, & worship started off great! Followed by sermon & then games. Our group's the white league, & we played the "clean games". Wash up. Youth Ablaze started as usual, 4pm. Sermon was on blessing others, as we've been blessed. Like, doing CP work. The first time I went to do was giving out biscuits & cereal to residents, so we were following some of the adults, & we approached door-to-door to give it to the residents. From that experience, I felt the determination to give it my best the next time I do CP work. Then Pastor Daniel came up to ask for altar call, was about intimacy with God. I was hesitant about going up, & when I've decided, it was packed with people. So I just stood at my seat. & as he was praying for us, the presence of God was so strong that I broke down like a baby. Amazing isn't it, I did not have the courage to walk out, but He's always so understanding & forgiving. Thanks to Jacelyn & Pastor Ruth for praying for me, & indeed most were touched by the Lord. Ended at 7pm, had dinner. & for the first night, we weren't staying in church! Watched a video of Senior Pastor being "kidnapped", & each group was given a clue, & we've to head to the correct venue. Haha quite fun actually, could see the whole church running around, heading to their respective venues. For ours, we had to take bus to the Punggol Hibiscus. Reached there in no time, mission accomplised! Our girls' accomodation was great, the gym & cafe that the church has opened at Hougang area. Air-conditioned! Around 10pm I went to meet JieKai to pass him his shirts & stuff, & he was staying over at Yvonne's. Haha. Sorry not able to send you off to Sydney! Went back, bathed, slept. The 2nd day was as great too. Breakfast at Blk 680, another tuition & childcare centre that church has opened. Worship led by Pastor Ruth! (: Followed by a video. Lunch at nearby coffeeshop, then we started with the "H" language again after our cell guys has arrived. Haha! Took bus back to church, & it was dirty games time! Though I didn't play two of the most dirtiest ones. Wash up, dinner. Holy Spirit night! Again, touched by the Lord. & we had 8 salvations that night! PraiseTheLord (: Then it was time to pray for people who want to receive the gift of tongues. They were all gathered in front, I went up to a boy & prayed for him. I asked God to give him the courage to speak up, even though he wasn't sure if those word were the gift of tongues. Two of the leaders & me were praying strongly in tongues, & it worked. He was tearing so badly, & the next moment he received it! Thank God for the courage He has given me, & after that the boy smiled at me. He was just like me when I first went up to receive the gift of tongues, did not really have the courage to speak up, but God is good (: Then I felt the need to pray for another girl in front, eventually I'm not sure if she received it, but I know she will one day. It was already midnight when it ended, worship prac was cancelled. Joyce & I slept the latest again, haha! I think both of us are like owls. Woke up at 6am plus, did devotion with cell group. Thanks Jacelyn & Clarissa for their sharing. Got up to L4 for worship prac, duty with Kenneth! Nice guy who likes to say sorry. Afterwhich, headed to Blk 435 for CP work! We were given only $50, so our idea was to buy around 60-70 cups of coffee/tea, & give it for free to the residents who's having breakfast there. We started off good, approached a family first, asked if they want coffee or tea, & so on. Most of the residents were friendly, they'd ask why are we giving out free coffee & all, & when I said we're here to bless the community & so on, they'd reply, "Oh, that's good!" Really thank God for their kind responses, one lady asked me to jiayou too (': Headed back to church in the afternoon, & Pastamania for lunch! Last meal before we break camp ): Cleaning up after that, washed the toilet, thanks guys for cooperation & we were able to finish up fast. Break camp at 5pm, & headed to dinner with Kaiwei, George & Ryan! Cabbed home with Ryan after that.

I was queueing to get my lunch one day, then I was speaking the 'language', then SP's wife suddenly came to me & said, "Orh, the 'H' language ah!" HAHA I was so surprised. Good, everyone's learning it. Lol! Hoheen Heo is having sore throat now, hope she'll get well soon! Ah I'm missing everything I went through in the camp now. D:

I enjoy going to church, I enjoy being in the presence of God, I enjoy worshipping, I enjoy serving in the sound ministry, I enjoy doing CP, I enjoy being in BFC, I enjoyed "Let's Go Academy" camp!

Tomorrow helping Joe to move his things to the new house! Thursday, will be out with Yangling. Friday's 4E3 BBQ, might be going only 'cause I've camp the next day. Saturday to Monday, badminton camp! After I'm back, the next day will be "MyHope" Christmas Party! Yay. But I'm sorry YingZhi, not able to arrange a date to go out with you. And Samuel too, Don's not free & I can't make it on the day we arranged. Another day okay ): Don shitface's going to Europe on Sunday, & back on 30th Dec. That's all, blog soon! :)
