Till we say the next hello.

that's my name tag and black apron :D

Tuesday went down t get uniform & everything. Two of the Subway's bosses talked to me, some kind of job briefing. One of them, Carmen explained me why the name of company ( not the name Subway :D ) is named after something that's stated in the Bible. Yeah, she said something like, "We believe that when we work, we've to strive for the best & ultimately, the boss is God." Well, her words really impacted me a lot & I'm glad to work in Subway :)

Wednesday was my first day. Reported at 10am & everything went on quite well. I've a great bunch of colleagues :) With me being the youngest, they treated me very well. Auntie Nancy, Karen, Lucy, Lei, Xinyi, Elmo, George, Jonathan & Frankie are my colleagues. It's not a lot of people 'cause we're all working shifts. & I got to serve Lydia today! My senior who has already graduated. Supposed to meet Seng guan for dinner but I worked till closing. My first day lasted for more than 12hours. Haha. Got home after wee hours.

I almost fainted when I know I've t work on Thursday as well. Lol. Reported at 10am, & I've learnt much more as compared to the first day. The long queue was hell. It lasted from 12pm all the way till I knocked off. By the way, I'm in charge of putting the toppings for customers, total 8 toppings, put the breads into the toaster & asked the customer what kind of sauce they want. It can be quite tedious when customers requested to put all the toppings, 'cause sometimes I've difficulty packing the sandwich. :D But quite challenging actually. Yeah, so my day lasted with backaches & muscle aches.

Friday, which is today. Reported at 10am. The queue started at around 12pm again, & lasted till I knocked off. One of the bosses came down again t observe me I guess. She stood outside the shop, I carried on serving the customers & pretended that she's invisible. Haha. If not, I'll tremble :) Tomorrow I'll working at 2pm, thank God. & Oscar's coming down for interview, 'cause he's still jobless! Yeah, so I asked him to give it a try. Hope he'll get the job, then we'll be able to work together :)

Sandwich Artist, not an easy job after all. But so far the customers were really sweet & nice, & I've to slang a bit when I talk, 'cause for sure Angmohs will patronise Subway. that I'm able to get along well with all my colleagues, especially Karen. She's just so .. HAHAH. Right, funny lah her :D Jonathan's super nice, he shared with me some of the knowledge that I probably should know if I ever get into a polytechnic. Ah, those attachments & stuffs. And his angmoh accent is really, woooow leh. I love listening t his voice. (; Oh meals are provided, & Mum's gotten me another skinny jeans because of the job. Double greatness :DD

I'll stop, it's getting a lil' draggy here. Anyway thanks Donavan, I'm really touched :D
