YESTERDAY after work, took mrt to tanjong pagar. met up w looyee, jas, hz, sam, lewis, bert & weijie. we were heading to the DBS auditorium. yeah, dudley's church was holding event called "Joint Connecting Youth". so when we reached the mrt station, could see a number of people wearing the orange t-shirt. guiding us to the auditorium la. haha. the auditorium is not very big, but i liked it for it's enclosed area. lol. we sat down and waited until 4plus then the event started with two hosts. Douglas (dudley's brother!) & Cheryl, haha ok both quite joker. yeah then their band, revival generation, played a few songs. & there's lyrics for us to see, means can sing la. afterwhich, was a drama put up by the church members. dudley's in it too, but only a while. haha. after the drama, 4 people shared their testimonies w us, their lives & how they learnt to know God in the end. Dudley's the first. & the things he shared, are some i don't know la. so, looyee & i were like to the crying stage. it's touching & for that moment, i got to know dudley better. yeah, he told us the bad things that he did, & eventually he seeked for God, for His love. & he said God loved him for who he is, and now he doesn't feel empty anymore. wa so touching la. then was william's turn. ok i couldn't remember what he said but his and dudley's one were touching. then was anna's turn. & the last part of the event was Pastor Benjamin sharing w us the stories in the Bible. & some real life examples. (: this part was quite long to me. after he ended everything, we were asked to stand, bow our heads down & close our eyes. he asked, who would like to respond to God & open your heart to let Jesus come in. those who responded, raised their hands. i don't know who, cause we were all closing our eyes. then those people who responded went to the stage. was shocked to see lewis & weijie up there ! haha. looyee was very happy too. then we sang two songs, & i think some leaders prayed for them. we waited quite long for lewis & weijie. & met some people too. like Eva & Cheryl (the host) haha. Cheryl kept telling us her eyes not small la, & other stuffs. she went out to eat first. then finally, we went outside the auditorium, hoping that there's still alot of food at the buffet. but almost ALL were empty already. so, we just took rice & meat. got to talk to people like stanley & gloria. yeah, then cheryl walked past. i waved then she was telling me that her eyes are not small. then ah, the dudley talked back. LOL. they "fought" for awhile. oh, and many people were saying that haozhi & dudley looked alike. haozhi, looyee & i bought their orange t-shirt ! very nice. lewis going dudley's church from next week onwards, i think. haha. then weijie said he wna believe in God, but don't want to be a christian. lol. anyway, dudley told me there were 13 salvations yesterday evening. & we went home at around 8 plus. had a fun evening yesterday. FUN people(:
